Big Green Egg's Cast Iron Grid is a cast iron cooking grate. It heats up quickly and handles very high temperatures, browning meat to help lock in the juices.
The grill pattern it leaves is the chef's own signature, formed by you on butterflies, meat cuts, and vegetables.
Burgers, short ribs, chops, and tuna sizzle and bubble on it, while eggplant, zucchini, asparagus, and bell peppers pick up the same characteristic grill marks. Once that signature is on the plate, it's ready to serve.
