The Big Green Egg rEGGulator Vent Cap is a replacement part made for the S and MX size EGGs. This patented vent succeeds the earlier metal top, bringing an ergonomic shape along with gains in usability and durability, and it lets cooks adjust airflow with extreme precision.
Cast iron construction pairs with a cool silicone grip, so airflow can be eased up or down without burning fingers. After two years of development, Big Green Egg pushed its established precise temperature control to what it calls its highest degree of perfection, matching the rEGGulator's extremely precise adjustment. If rain starts while the EGG is in use, the separate Rain Cap accessory fits onto the vent to keep rain out, and closing the air supply fully makes the EGG 100% airtight, putting out the fire.
