The Big Green Egg Split Heat Deflector creates two cooking zones at once, keeping direct heat on one side and indirect heat on the other. That split lets entrées and sides finish cooking at the same time instead of one after another.
Made from Big Green Egg's improved ceramic, the deflector spreads heat evenly across the indirect zone and adds more usable cooking space. The ceramic also protects food at the edges of the grate.
