This is the jacket that makes a built-in installation safe when the island is framed in wood or composite. The BSASL32 is double-lined, so an air gap sits between two stainless skins and keeps the heat of the firebox away from the surrounding structure. It is required for any combustible island and is not needed if the island is masonry or metal-framed.
