The DCS Wireless Temperature Sensor combines a stainless steel and white ceramic build with eight sensor points for measuring internal and ambient temperatures.
It responds in 2-3 seconds and holds probe data for up to 5 hours, logging readings every 5 seconds. Accuracy runs 0.4°F from -10°C to 65°C, 0.6°F from 65°C to 85°C, and 0.8°F above 85°C.
The sensor connects over Bluetooth Smart 4.0 or Bluetooth 5, reaching up to 10-33ft through a wall oven, range or closed grill and up to 250-500ft on an open grill or cooktop. A 20-minute charge delivers up to 24-30 hours of cooking battery life, up to 7-8 hours in instant-read mode, or up to 30 days on standby.
