SimpliFire builds the Allusion Edge as a single-sided, linear electric fireplace. Digital flames flicker over glowing logs and embers, and the homeowner can pick from four flame effects. It slides into a framed and finished wall, fitting over painted drywall, tile or smooth stone, and an optional build-out kit is available for the installation.

A Wi-Fi app and the included remote handle the thermostat, lighting and on/off function, and brightness, heat, sound and flame settings can be personalized. Three crackling sound effects with volume control round out the fire, which runs with or without heat so it works through every season.
