The Weber Summit Smart FS38X E is a freestanding Summit Smart E grill that runs on natural gas and sits on a cart, with a high-definition touchscreen for igniting the burners or switching control to a smartphone. SmartControl technology marks where food should go and fine-tunes temperature, while included smart probes send cooking graphs and alerts for flipping, finishing, and serving straight to your phone. Guided recipes appear on the touchscreen and in the Weber Connect app, which gets new features and functionality on a regular basis.

A top-down infrared broiler sears steaks with an edge-to-edge crust, and the integrated rotisserie plus an optional rust-resistant griddle insert expand the grill's techniques beyond standard grilling. WEBER CRAFTED cooking grates and a frame kit also let the grill convert into a pizza oven, wok, or other grillware setups, all sold separately.

The cookbox and lid assembly carry a 15-year warranty against rust-through or burn-through, and the stainless burner tubes, cooking grates, and Flavorizer bars are covered for 10 years.
