The Big Green Egg EGG Genius Temperature Controller is a smart device built for precise temperature control on the grill. It connects to a smartphone, tablet, or computer so you can monitor and manage your egg's internal temperature from any location.

An algorithm-driven, variable-speed blower holds your target cooking temperature, while dual probes report real-time readings from both the cooking chamber and the food itself. Alerts flag cooking progress and temperature swings, and the controller lowers the temperature automatically once cooking finishes and adjusts airflow when the dome opens.

Running firmware version 4.0 and above, the EGG Genius offers three connection modes to match the situation. Cloud Connect is the standard mode, giving full history logging and note-taking, while Local Connect keeps your phone linked to the controller through your home Wi-Fi router if your external internet connection is offline. Direct Connect links your phone straight to the EGG Genius signal with no router or internet needed, suited to tailgating, camping, or remote cooking.
