The Weber Slate 36” Rust-Resistant Griddle is a freestanding, cart-style flat-top griddle with four stainless steel burners producing 48,000 BTU total. Its carbon-steel cook surface resists rust and comes pre-seasoned, so cooking can begin as soon as it's unboxed. Fueled by liquid propane from a 20 lb tank sold separately, the griddle climbs past 500ºF for high-heat cooking.
Wind guards keep the four burners from blowing out, and since the cooktop sits close to them, each independently controlled zone holds a steady temperature. Since no coatings cover the cooktop, metal spatulas and scrapers can flip, press, and scrape without damaging it.
Snap-on accessories attach to the Weber Works side rails, and the left-hand side table folds down to free up space when not needed. Weber backs the griddle with a 5-year limited warranty, including 5 years of coverage on the carbon-steel cooktop itself, excluding rust.
